Default Sank my first BB, how rare? (GWX)

Just sank the HMS Rodney (Oct. 1940) last night, I've played this game off and on for 5 years and that was the first time I came across a BB, Just northwest of Scapa (I don't look up where to find warships, just wing it). Was just wondering how often you guys run into capital ships (CV's/BB's) and if it's by chance or knowledge, thanks.

P.S Bismarck should have a fighting chance now? Right?...

Played about 8 games, starting from 1939 all but once in 1940. I was once told where a battleship was (looked like it was headed towards Scapa), but I was out of torpedoes and couldn't do anything about it. Haven't seen any others.

I've played 3 serious campaigns (the third one being my ongoing youtube let's play). Once I was told about a task force in an adjacent grid square, which was somewhere west of Gibraltar. I couldn't find it and had to return empty handed, apart from a few smaller commercial vessels I was able to sink. I'm playing with the realistic-contacts mod, which is to say without contacts except for your own boat.

i found a cv last mounth infront norway coming back scapa flow runinng a game with wac 5 scrpt file in campaing and was very unsuccesfull, destroyers hunt me becose i play with sensors and ai from nygm and aparently the 2 scors was very heavy hunters and findme relative easy and y had bad look.

some cusiers and a bb was seen when i was playing with gwx 3, but only a hit on a crusier but was not enought to sunk him.

Is very uncommon found this big ships, only chance is a little support cv into a convoy in meddle of atlantic like bouguer class.
