WarAceCampaign Patch_5.2
WAC5.0 H.sie Supplement to V16B1_Atlantic_Baltic_Campaign
Optimized ARB-Ahnenerbe WideGui 1920x1080 for WAC5

I 've tried everything but nothing works.

Is their a difference between the hsie 4g patch and the one WAC provides?

Hi,

1-you are testing an old wac5.2 not yet stable patch.

2-to test wac5.2, you have to delete "Campaign_SCR.mi" in "WAC5.0 H.sie Supplement to V16B1_Atlantic_Baltic_Campaign"

3-be careful if you are starting a patrol from Wilhelmshaven base with ARB widegui : http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...postcount=1210

4-sh3.exe property : compatibility W7 + run as admin

Does WAC Campaign 5.1 replace 5.0. And where do I get a stable 5.2 patch?

Yes but you need SH3 Commander + additional folders for WAC
With Commander you have a start at sea option (never tried it though)

You should activate this order:

WarAceCampaign 5.0
WarAceCampaign Patch_5.2_RC1
WAC5.0 H.sie Supplement to V16B1_Atlantic_Baltic_Campaign (without campaign folder)
Optimized ARB-Ahnenerbe WideGui 1920x1080 for WAC5

Nothing else needed!
I have my SH3.exe patched with H.sie first, then patched with ARB gui for full map. I leave it then in main root folder.
Everything running fine

I don't know if this is intented or not, but i get this few times already...looks like he is abandoned after an attack in middle of North sea.

It's always a Wreck C2 Cargo. So maybe a spawning problem?

I got one too along west Hebrides...

Date and time is moused over the clock
Looks dead, but it's not. If i destroy it, i'll get credited...

Yes that is a wreck ship !

In Optimized ARB widegui you have now full map + functional draggable chrono :-)

Option sh3 commander "start at sea" does not work yet with wac5.

God damn

I just learned the Wreck definition/translation in French!
Didn’t know it was that! I though it was a cargo type!!

So everything is normal

Very nice feature by the way

Actually sea start at can work. I plugged in a Lat and Long from the campaign editor and it worked. This was at Kiel and I put the start point a little farther up in the channel from the dock and it put me right there when it started. How ever it looked pretty silly with the crew still standing tall on the deck 5 klicks from the dock! I just modified the start at sea cfg in sh3 commander.

Yes it is possible to edit the start at sea cfg file with a little skill and time .
If you do it for all the bases it could be nice to give the file here for all the wac5 players. Thanks.

An other very nice feature (if this is intended)

An escort is closing the sinking ship and clearly stopped... to rescue survivors maybe?

Yes, that’s what i thought... just a nice coincidence

But in real life, destroyers were rescuing survivors each time
(Convoys or not)

Yep and not sure if from the beginning of SH3 but definitely during the release of TGW/GWX

About the Wilhelmshaven bug on come back, this time i tried to come back without any time compression from 51km of Harbour...and still have the big mess

So this is definitely not time compression related...but more of a spawning issue imho.
