Sorry about the small pictures. Subsim only seems to upload thumbnails regardless of the image size I set. So I'm going to have to go through that process of going to yet another site to upload the picture so Subsim can use it.
Maybe this will show it better. Unfortunately I had already converted the size to 640x so it doesn't blow back up very well.

Default Better views of Convoy Issue in v0.62

Here are the displaced (?) convoy pics I mentioned in a previous post from a mission off Honshu in October 1943:

Again, using the (f12) free camera, I approached the convoy I had been tracking and did not see the burning, misplaced ships. However, as shown in the third pic, they were in the harbor, more or less.

Okay I'll have to locate the Yubari files from a previous version that worked and do a transplant. Regressions shouldn't happen!

CapnScurvy,

that was really useful and I think I'll definitely going to print that reference guide. I'm quite the noob on SH4, I'm more of a modern sub skipper (I love my Akulas!!) but I love the eye candy.

I really wish there was something similar to SH for modern subs, but I guess this is a dream that unless I win a lottery and fund it myself it will never get done...

So what's up with the campaign and the impossible ressuply missions? I have been to Taiwan several times already but I don't know how it justifies it?

Also I wanted to thank all the gentle and patient answers I'm getting, thanks a lot guys

The Subsim download area has the new upload with the Yubari fix incorporated. The version is still 0.63.

In 20 minutes, Area 51 will also be updated.

Enjoy!

Default Seems strange?

First, "Outstanding work"
I have noticed on a few patrols that after I get a successful hit on a target
there is a very impressive explosion, then the ship continues on and leave all the smoke and flames behind like it was never touched. The ship does eventually sink. Happened yesterday on a patrol out of Cavite right at the start of the war?
Takes a little away from the realism.

Love your work!!! Thanks All

If you've ever played SH3 or stock SH4, they do the same thing.

Default DIY SOS Pearl Harbour

Date Stamp: December 9th 1941

What the hell is going on here?

Far to many zombie ships floating around.... and too much ship to ship cuddles...

My first full game launch since v.0.56 due to other in-game projects, where i seem to start and finish wthin the museum area only.

My last visit to pearl was as above with propbeanie, testing dredging, and fixing several drunk units, including the tanker that kept wipping out the sub pen, next to sub tender..

When we left, it was running nicely, all textures in place, no cuddling units, no zombies...

Guys, can any of you replicate this, before i nuke my install incase it's a cross contamination please?

I'll get to it in the morning after I get my Windows installation (why do I bother?) running again. It will be interesting to see if we have regression there too. I hope this doesn't start a trend...

Sorry guys for not commenting earlier, but I've been out of town, and there was no internet nor cell phone contact... wow, kind of nice...

As for those shots torpedobait, the ships being hung in mid-air is from "flying in" on the exterior camera. However, the ships having spawned, then crashed and burned on a hillside is not cool... Which harbor are you at there?

s7rikeback, the two tugs with the BB are waiting for outbound traffic to go by them, then they'll "guide" the BB to her berth... 'Course, that never happens, but that's the story, and I'm sticking to it. A little later, you'll see a tanker sitting out there with some tugs... - the "skinless" beauties you have there? I have no idea... They weren't naked last week... - btw, some of the ships you see "parked" around Ford Island at Pearl Harbor are more than just window dressing, they're there for "collision avoidance", so that some of the inbound and outbound vessels make their turns in appropriate places, and then don't go into "back-up mode", and start merging with their neighbors...
