Default ME Torpedo Loadout

Above is a screenie of the torpedo loadout for late war missions created with the SH4 ME. The Mark 18s and Mark 23s are thrown in with the Mark 14s. Now way back in the day with the old ME from SH1 you were given the option of what kind of torpedoes and how many the sub would carry during the mission created. Now with the current ME in SH4 you don't have this option. You just get 16 Mark 14s and 4 Mark 18s in the stern and 4 Mark 23s in the bow. Now my question is, can the torpedo loadout be modded into the SH4 ME or is the SH4 ME hard coded and can't be changed?

I'm 99% certain that the ME is unchangeable in that manner cdrsubron7. The torps that load in a boat - if I'm remembering correctly - are controlled in the subs' UPC file under the WeaponSlot listings for the tubes... maybe... One could make a mini-mod for that... but I don't think you can get a drop-down box for the screen in-game or ME for that. (btw, I miss a ~LOT~ of stuff from SH1... sigh)...

That's what I thought, thanks for the answer, pb. I agree with you, lots of things in SH1 I miss also.
