Default Identifing Current Keyboard Shortcuts in Local Install

Hello Folks,

After spending half my research time on SH5 learning submarine acronyms, I’ve invented my own…….. OPNG, Old Person New Gamer who discovered SH5 after being unimpressed after a couple of weeks of fly, hold the trigger and kill everything sims. I really want to ‘dive’ into SH5 & WoS with all seriousness. My teacher said trig would save my life someday, so here we go………

I’m running SH5 1.2 WoS 2.2 and because I’m new, I’m having trouble identifying all the keyboard shortcuts applicable to my specific installation. There are so many posts of WoS revisions and/with mods that have their own changes to the keyboard that may be in my install.
I started compiling a list from a WoS keyboard photo with an ID overlay and the documentation embedded in my install, testing them during no contact cruises while I learn the sub. I exported a keyboard_report with the TWoS Editor and was surprised the list was a very small subset of keys I have already identified.

Why is the editor report incomplete?

Are the keyboard shortcuts obsolete with WoS 2.2?

Is there a mechanism to extract a complete dump of the keyboard shortcuts from the local install?

If there is no such mechanism, I don’t know python (I think that is *.py), but I can parse every file on the hard drive with C# if I know the storage syntax/pattern of the keyboard shortcuts.

Any advice on identifying the shortcuts specific to someone’s local installation would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You So Much………………….

Hello Nauta Inferis,

"SH_Keymapper" will allow you to identify absolutely all the shortcuts, to modify them at will, also to add specific sounds with a shortcut.
Easy to use.

SH_Keymapper is here : https://www.subsim.com/radioroom/downloads.php?do=file&id=4715
