Default II/JG53 virtual squadron

Ok, Wolves at War was the best time I ever had in SHIII. Now, completely abandoned the game and turned solely to IL2, I was thinking the day we started the Kuban campaign, how cool it would to have a WaW like online campaign for IL2. Here the II/JG53 comes in. They do pretty much that.

I'm sold.

Well, it's Luftwaffe for me anyday, so. Just waiting for them to give me the date for my practice/introduction flight and off I go!

@Kratos

If you're, I can ask Valantine if it would be possible for you to join in as an observer to the server & TS tonight? We have a sortie scheduled for 20-20:30GMT.

EDIT: Of course, if anyone else is interested, let me know and I ask. Tho, I think it would be only 1 observer, so everyone playing would have enough planes.

To be there, pick the last plane of the squadron, roll off from the runway (so we wont land on you when we are returning), keep your mouth shut during the mission so we hear the orders/warnings we get and sit back and enjoy the action via the external cams.

''loved it matey'' .....B.T.W. I thought you didn't like night time flying.....must admit it's the longest time i ever seen you sit so still on a runway..you must have been fiddling with the joystick..''you know calibrating it''

Aye, got lucky on the last one. 2 kills came from saving someone's butt, so easy to get in position. And actually, yes, I was calibrating my joystick during the wait on the runway. :rotfl: As for the night time, I had no idea. When the game loaded up I uttered silently "f*ck....". :p

Yaayy, tonight's time to make another drunken sortie or two and get myself killed like the last time!

PS. Nicl sure is somekind of detective or something. Always sniffing around.

So - i've found Dowly's hide out!

It's been a long time since I was last over here at Subsim - I think I only signed up to take advantage of some SHIII downloads back in 05!
It's great to have Dowly and some of you others aboard, the rest of you are welcome if you fancy dropping by.
Until then il let Dowly do his Finnish thing and Ferret around!

Rofl, I think someone else noticed too how irritating the I153 is. :rotfl:Oh well.. better not laugh, I'm up against Hunter's I153 when we start the SubSim Knock-Out Tournament.
