Default New Free Falcon 5.5.3 is up

http://www.freefalcon.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=17

So far I must say it's the best Free Falcon version that I've ever tried. I'm liking it so much and compelled me to install new NVIDIA driver that's supposed to add compatibility fix for games such as Falcon 4.0. just to try that AA.

Meh new drivers still not support AA in Free Falcon so much for improved compatibility fix hype from NVIDIA

Well new NVIDIA driver made possible the use of anti aliasing in game though the TAC-Ref and munition page would still be screwed up.

It's one of the most stable version of Free Falcon I've ever tried. And I'm playing on Vista.

Oh wow, now Vista combatibility is certainly a long shot!

And yeah, well, that'll learn you to count on nvidia - honestly, I've given up on them fixing a lot of issues like this. They might say it, but they really don't care about older games. Heck, they can't fix the massive memory leaks in cloud rendering in MS Flight Simulator... forget Falcon!

Yeas I found the stability of the newest Falcon to my surprise. Now I can at least enjoy playing it .

Well to be fair the anti aliasing now works okay in game 3D world just not in Tactical reference page and not in Weapon load out page either. But it works without a glitch in the 3D game world. Now my planes look really smooth instead jagged.... Well I rarely want to change my load out anyway.

The land(ground) tiles have been vastly improved as well as the cockpit(though only marginally for the cockpit I must say but improved nonetheless)

When I moved, one of the things I definitely kept was my original Falcon 4.0 notebook binder.

Time to put it back to use I'm thinking.

I still have the original falcon 4.0 disc, box and manual and keyboard layout

Free Falcon is so much better than Falcon 4.0. Probably my favorite free game out there.
