Default Periscope and snorkel realistic damage mod[A Request]

Is it possible to damage the persicope when the sub is travelling more than 5 knots and to destroy it when the sub exceed 7/8 knots.

The same for snorkel but with different speed.

Snorkel would be damaged if engaged at speed above 10 knots and be destroyed at speed above 15 knots.

Is this possible at all?:hmm:

I've asked the very same question before... and wished that we could.

Unfortunately the answer is no.

The best that can be done is simply to "choose to play realistically" regarding this matter and not exceed 5-6 knots when the snorkel is engaged.

Thank you for answering this Kpt Lehmann.

If you exceed the indicated speed using them, you can choose that they're damaged, and stop to use them.

Never thought that a periscope could be damaged by the relatively slow submerged speed of a sub....and never heard about such accidents.
only know about periscopes damaged after accidental colisions with ships
linerkiller is now psichologically smashed

I don't have that kind of restraint.
