Default silent hunter 4 question

hello dear subsim forum.
after ive played some silent hunter 5 for more or less several months, i bought the silent hunter IV today .

everything is okay i like the game and it will be a pleasure to finish it

BUT one thing is very much in my mind and i cant play the game without that:

its this nice blackboard with range speed and angle of bow .
is it a mod ?
or is it just a shortcut i cannot find ?
its such a great solution the whole interface is really cool.

please help, and thank you all for the great help with part 5 of silent hunter.
even if my wife do not know what it mean to be with the captain

There should be a tab above the tube status panel that you can click on or pull out, but it is only functional with manual targeting enabled. I don't use it, personally. I Hate the math part!

Default ......

i just ment the visuals ...i like to type the range etc onto a sheet of paper for my crew instead of adjust it by myself ...thats just my way of thinking...

so anyone else maybe have a clue how i get this visuals ?/interface ?

mine look different . - i have to put in the range the speed and the angel of bow with some kind of wheel (its maybe original)

looks like that

i would love to have it like my first comment. is this possible ?

(dont watch the video - just the pictures . there is clearly a difference.

first with a sheet of paper ont he right side and different torpedo function visuals.

2nd - no sheet of paper -just wheels and mechanics.---

The difference is due to the difference in computing the fire control solution. The US TDC was more advanced than the German counterpart in that it could actively track a contact based on the information you input into the TDC. Input range, bearing, AoB, and speed and start what was called the Position Keeper. It would then keep the solution updated based off of the information you input and be feeding that information to the torpedo gyro.

If you have the U-Boat Addon as well you'll see the German side still has things the way they did in SH3, and what you are looking for. But only for the Germans.
