T34 vs Tiger new player resources

I recently purchased this game from amazon. It looks like it has some value but has the developer gone belly up? I would like to learn how to play it. The manual is ok, but some tutorials would have been nice. I can understand an arcady point and shoot tank sim, but one thats trying to emulate reality??!!

Can anyone direct me to resources or a community forum that I may comb through and learn the ropes?? Also, are any mods available?? I can see this games potential. Just hope there is support for it.

Also, if this ones dead, can anyone recommend another tank simulator that is quality?

Your original request for help is rather broad. Perhaps if you have more specific questions, they would be easier to address.

For instance, is your difficulty learning to play related to the user interface? Do you have questions about how tanks of that period physically worked? Or are you primarily seeking tactical advice?

With respect to your question about other tank sims, pretty much the only tank simulators on the market are discussed here. They occupy a small niche.

Thanks guys... I guess my specific questions are being answered as I play the game. I just wanted to see if there was a new player FAQ or something along those lines.

So I guess Ill ask: Are there any mods for this game yet? Patches?

Which WW2 tank sim has more mods? Steel Fury??

Hi nvrsummer2, as ZeeWolf said it's important to read not all but at least the threads that may of interest to you on this forum.You''ll see posts dedicated to TvsT with ZeeWolf's mods and new missions/improvements to the game( they are not free though).

Otherwise you can read the threads dedicated to other sims such as Steel Fury, Steel beasts etc.There's lots of material but all of us had to plough through it as well + there's really too much info to be given in a couple of posts.

Once you have decided to go for a particular sim or aspects of one you can posts , and you have more specific questions then we ''ll do our best to help you out...
