Hello everyone,

just wanted to say hi as I am new to the forum. I played Silent Hunter 3 back in the days when it was published, but stopped doing so a long time ago. I was always tempted by Silent Hunter 4 and 5, but the uplay thing kept me from playing them.

However, after seeing the original U1 in the "Deutsches Museum" in München, I just could not resist anymore and bought Silent Hunter 3 again.

And I was very delighted when I found out that it does not need uplay to run and that there is a mod to adapt it to wide screen.

Now, I am using the GWX mod and am very happy so far.
