Default Can't Dock

Hi Peter (THEBERBSTER),
I completed mission to sink Polish Task Force. I then headed to Keil but it won't let me dock so that I can get my next orders. (Flashing Anchor Symbol is there but only option to re-fit).
I have a couple of saved games well before Keil & tried loading them, but still no joy. I even re-checked your post #188 just to make sure I didn't make any mistakes.
I would be obliged if you have any thoughts & your help would be much appreciated.
Everything has been installed & set up as per your tutorials. The only mods I have enabled are TWoS 2.0.0 & TWoS Update 2.0.8.
Regards as always Lachie (lowbow).

Hi Lachie
Never seen or heard of re-fit only in Kiel.
Is the next mission showing on your nav map?
In the bunker in Memel did you make a manual game save and load it before starting the Baltic Operation?
What date and stopwatch GMT time is showing in Kiel?
You can see the U-Boat icon in Kiel?

Default Can't Dock

Hi Peter (THEBERBSTER),
No next mission shows on nav map.
I done the usual manual save and load in bunker before starting the Operation.
I'll run it again and check date & the GMT time.
What U-Boat icon ?
Regards Lachie (lowbow).

Hi Lachie
Quote:
What U-Boat icon ?
The icon that shows where your base is.
In the picture you can see the icon in Kiel.
Using the map you will always know where your base is at anytime.

Nautical time and GMT time are different in the Baltic Operation by 1 hour.
At 00.00 nautical time on 4th September the next mission will appear on the map.
You cannot end the Baltic Operation until stopwatch/GMT time is at 00.00 on 4th September.
This is not a problem if you change nautical time to GMT and then it is synced to the stopwatch.
Peter

Hi Peter (THEBERBSTER),
It was as you mentioned, "You cannot end the Baltic Operation until 00.00 on 4th September". I was just too soon trying to end it.
Your help is much appreciated.
There is something else I would like help with but I'll make another post to you if I may, as it's a completely different subject.
Regards Lachie (lowbow).

Default Muliple Installations of SH5

Hi Peter (THEBERBSTER),
Now I have the game running sweet (as I want it) with TWoS & your help.
This version I'm playing is the Gold Edition downloaded from Uplay (offline).
I also own the original DVD which I bought when game was released (plus I have Patch 1.2 to update it) & I would like to be able to have a 2nd separate installation of SH5 to use to check out mods without disturbing the one I'm playing.
From your tutorial page I see it's possible according to 'Baka', but I'm not sure really how to go about it.
Is there anyway you could help me on this ? Thanks as always.
Regards Lachie.(lowbow).

Hi Lachie
Yes, watch out for mission and also campaign endings by being at sea and not docked before they complete.

Unless you have some computer knowledge the Baka tutorial will be beyond most people including me.
The tutorial really needs a step by step guide.

You do not need a separate patch fpr the dvd to v1.2 as you do it from here.

Default Thanks

Hi Peter (THEBERBSTER),
First of all, THANK YOU.
I've went to the 'Baka' post about his idea & asked if it's possible for a step-by-step guide. I will wait to see if I hear anything. If I do, & it's interesting, I'll let you know.
Regards Lachie (lowbow).

Default Kriegsmarine Grid Map

Hi Peter (THEBERBSTER),
I went through your post #169 before, but I had another look through it.
I'm fine as to how to use 'The Kriegsmarine Grid Map', but I need to know how to get the 'Kriegsmarine Grid Map' as my game default map.
I have downloaded and tried enabling 'Kriegsmarine Grid Map for MO and TDW UIs by stoianm', but I can't get it to work.
Am I looking at the wrong mod or is it something else ?
Regards Lachie(lowbow).

It is a chart not a working map.
Will be found by using the E shortcut key.

Maybe you might like to use one of these.

Hi Peter (THEBERBSTER),
When I saw that the grid map was defaulted as the nav map in TWoS I thought that maybe there was a mod that was incorporated into TWoS. So I was trying to recreate that in stock game.
Thanks for putting me straight as to it being a chart. I'll have a look at your suggestion. Thanks as always. Very Helpful.
Regards Lachie(lowbow).
