Is there a way to remove the sub flag in TMO?

Just returned to the game after a long break and loaded in TMO.

Awesome stuff, but I would like to remove the US flag from my sub. I love America in all, but find it kind of odd waving around while I'm underwater or stalking a convoy at night.

Is there a file I can edit?

Here is a mod that will do it. It looks like it does a little bit more, too. You might be able to look at the files it changes and see if you can dig out the flag removal by itself, if you wish.

From a quick look, it appears that what you need to do is remove or comment out a section of the NSS_<class>.eqp file for each of the boats in each of the <SH4>\Data\Submarine\NSS_<class> folders.
