Default Best mod for German campaign?

So right now it is October 1944 in my American campaign, so soon I will be starting a German campaign (I like to change every now and then). I have TMO and RSRDC and what I wanted was something the same for the German campaign, since I understand that TMO and RSRDC doesn't make any change to that. So I was looking for a mod which would do the same to the German campaign.

I found Operation Monsun, but it looks very complicated with a lot of different versions and things. So before I try it, what does it to do the game? Is it worth to download it and try it or best to stay with stock?

Thanks for the help!

Definitely Operation Monsum mod. Really great mod. Installation is simply. And for IXD2 lovers I can recommend very nice Beta Nine Delta Two campaign mod.

Operation Monsun is the best (and only) full-war German campaign for SH4. It is excellent, if somewhat lacking in the details. OMEGU is simpler than it looks from the outside, and both are easy to install with JSGME. Just follow the directions.

OM v705
OM v720
OM v720 patch 1
OMEGU v300

You'll be fine.

How does OM or OMEGU compare to a SH 3 campaign?

Very well, actually. Lurker did a good job with the ships, and it plays very similarly to all the SH3 supermods, with convoys and warship movements well laid out. The negatives, at least for people like me, is the lack of details. None of LSH3's awesome harbor details or Kiel Canal bridges are there. In fact the Canal is fairly empty. On the other hand the SH4 crew management system rocks all by itself, and other in-game functions, such as the radio message system, make it worth playing. There are a couple of annoying glitches with the Type II, such as having way to many crew and the officer ranks, but I live with those and still enjoy it immensely.
