I made a small mod that replaces the textures at the bottom of the attack and navigation table, it is my understanding that the maps are displayed on the bottom edge of the tables and the lower texture should represent something like the floor of the uboat, instead in the mod the lower texture is another piece of wood same color as the table - i never liked that .
If anyone is interested, i uploaded the mod on my mediafire page, it is JSGME ready ( or you can just replace the textures manually ) :

It looks like this :

With the GUI hidden :

Default Query - menu_1024_768.ini file contents...

Does anyone know what the sections G29 and G2A are for in the menu_1024_768.ini file?

They don't seem right...

Default Fullscreen navigation map and TDC

Hello everybody!

I made a Fullscreen navigation map and TDC in ARB WideGui 1920x1080.

This is my modification based on Ahenenerbe WideGui 1920x1080.

Main changes:

- Most of the graphics in the game have been redesigned.
- Fullscreen navigation map and TDC.
- Improved text readability.
- Fixed some bugs of the original Ahnenerbe WideGui 1920x1080.

http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=232178

Please leave your feedback!

Hi B
Excellent work by the way.
Is your work still compatible with LASH3-2015?

Hi! I did not test, but I think it will work if the previous version or the original Ahnenerbe WideGui 1920 x 1080 Final (by Ahnenerbe) is working.

Thankyou Alex Ahnenerbe for this wonderful mod - it has really transformed the look of the game and works beautifully on my setup.

Would like to use it with the beautiful German Subs compilations but the game always CTD if I try to use both mods together via JGSME.

Im running the game on Windows 7 64-bit, and have other mods installed:

Bad weather fix V1.1 (Forte)
Das Boot Clothes
GWX - No Medals
Military Mod
Pascal Port People
Radio Deutschland
Real Damage
Sobers Real Smoke
Terrain Upgrade V1.6
DB Speech Pack
Sky V2

I also have installed and run game through SH3 Commander.

I'm not running the 4Gb patch.

I have tried various combinations of mods and different orders -everything works fine, but if I enable Subs everything CTD when the mission or campaign load. The problem seems to just be between WideGui and German Subs.

Can anyone suggest a fix?

Thanks
Stuck on this problem aswell, have tried 4gig patch, compatability mode, and disabling AV. No luck. Any suggestions?

It is very difficult to help you without knowing what gigamod you play and full list of installed mods. Maybe you need to go to the theme U-Boats.

I was able to figure out that my problem is because of ram limitations of the .exe file. even with the 4gig patch. solution was trial and error of different 4gig patches and limiting pc ram use. satisfied for now

Hi,

after searching the net for hours and reading this thread from page 1-30, I ask you guys ... does anyone know where I can find a detailed instruction/guide (if existing) how to use the RAOBF in this mod (how to read the rectile, read the values for Range/Speed/AOB from which marker depending on the zoom factor)?

Or if someone know how to use it, can you write one, PLEASE? I know how to use OLC ect. But I have no clue how to use it in this mod (due to the missing vertical/horizonal markings).

I dont know if this information is necessary but I'am using the "Optimized WAC5.01"-version of this mod + "Direct Zoom x5.4 x10.8".

Thanks ...
