Default Ironman

I've searched the forum and can't find an answer. In the Cold Waters options it lets you unclick an ironman option. What does this do?

Thanks

IIRC Ironman means you can only save at port.

And here I was thinking that it was maybe a campaign perk!

Example, you're sub is hit several times....you can't run....can't shoot back....you're sinking below crush depth....not much left to do except have a talk with your maker. Then, you hit the magic keys..."Cntrl+Shift+I+M" and 5 seconds later TONY STARK and his red, yellow and gold hot rod zooms in and lifts your wounded tube on to his shoulders and flies your sub out of danger and back to your home port. Nice, huh!!!

OK, so maybe I am on less than 3 hours sleep and a truckload of painkillers right now, but a boy can dream........

.....just bringin' a lil' laugh and smile to your day.....

As Bandit indicated:
Manual Pg 7:
Disable Ironman - Turns off Ironman mode, allowing AutoSave files to be used and saving of the campaign at will.
