I got mine from UBI but I never see anything about activation even after a new install.

They ask about registration but I ignore that one.

I wouldn't buy anything off steam. They secretly suck your blood at night while you sleep.

Just pay the < $10 for a new copy on Amazon, you can re-download it any time through your amazon account
