Default Out of Hosting duty for a while (or not?)

Due random BSODs on my PC which is a nice Sign of XP ''Reinstall me please''
I wont be hosting IL2 games for the next couple of days.

so for the Subsim Dogfight Knock out, if dowly is kind, that he will take over the role to Host the games.

have fun,

I know the pain, upgraded my internet speed today and started to get all kinds of errors. Re-installed XP three times and tried everything I could think of. Then, after 9hrs, I accidentally came across another drivers for my modem and bang, it works.

Well, havent done anything myself,
apart from pulling out the plug of my headphones (USB device)
it seems they where the cause got an error message in BSOD that directed me to my USB sound device.

as I havent had a BSOD yet on normal soundboxes.
so my BSOD is sound related..pfew (fingers crossed)

Update: weird, since I detached my USB headphone, havent experienced a BSOD. makes sense, as the first BSOD I got this week was when launching teamspeak, the screen completly froze. and on reset my screen stayed black, I had to shut off the power for at least a minute to get it back starting again.
so for the next days I run my PC without its headphones, to test if that where the cause of my problems.

Possibly a bad USB socket? Power supply getting old? :hmm:

Nah, I have many USB plugs in my Computer (Mouse, Joystick, DSL-Modem, Keyboard)

I think it is corrupted driver Software as it gave me a BSOD with a .sys file which guided me to my Headphone driver software, completly uninstalled it.
now I test it a while without the headphone, tommorow I can see if it was the cause or not.
we'll see, so far so good launched some heavy games played both for a while (IL2 and Warhammer DoW)
if tommorow everything is positive, no crashes.
I going to see what happens if I reinstall the headphones and update the software.

hows your PC issue going, Dowly?

2 Gigs of Ram, if I'm correct 32 bit doesnt support further then 1 gig of Ram.

:hmm: I see,

heck, I'm feeling ordering my PC right now...trouble is..I'm at Work
depending the time it takes, and the costs I might buy a new PC before getting back online in IL2

*Dual Core
*2 gig ram
*8800GT serie video card
* aprox 250 Gig HD and a 50 Gig HD for OS, Driver software, basis to get the PC running
*before I forget cooling fans that even will freeze Hell. J/k but something that keeps the Temp down
