Default Anti Submarine Warfare

Hi,

I thought I'd post this article on ASW for you all. There are some interesting pictures on how the Allies developed attack patterns on Uboats in the Atlantic and paints a dreadful picture for the Uboatmen after the Allies started getting act together.

I know you hardened skippers men already know this stuff, but raw recruits to Kreigsmarine should get to know what there up against before decending down the hatch for the last time.

Thanks to all you modders for your brilliant work

Thanks, sidslotm, for the great ASW article...........but don't stop there, Folks. There's a wealth of other U-boat and various sub related articles awaiting your reading pleasure at sidslotm's mentioned site.

Thanks from me too Sid. Very informative website.

I also found this interesting tidbit incase someone missed it...... Submarines sank submarines in WWII....... http://silentseawolvesmsw.devhub.com...rue-submarine/

Now we need AI subs to sink in SH5. Maybe as 'merchants' and countable towards the tonnage goals of each campaign section. If you could 'lock; on to a periscope in SH5, I bet you could sink one that's submerged. Surfaced should be a sub 'lock' on and in the recognition manual. Extra brownie points too for sinking a US or Brit sub.

Oh, you can actually sink AI U-class submarines in silent hunter 5.
Look around Lerwick and Malta.
