Cant get game to load

I just bought the game off steam, I have installed version the MOD Enabler version 2.6.0.157 in installed both version of the TriggerMaru Overhaul versions 2-5 & 2-7 but both fail to load when enabled separately in the enabler. Screen loads 3/4 of the way then I get the error messages:

There is a new (not Implemented) page: <Page ChooseLoadSave> !
There is a new (not Implemented) page: <Page PlayerRanks> !
There is a new (not Implemented) page: <Page InteligenceUnits> !
There is a new (not Implemented) page: <Page WeaponsAnd Sensors> !

Menu ID not Found: 0x6101000b!

Menu ID not Found: 0x61080004!

Then Silent Hunter crashes.

Anyone know the fix?

Did you get the version with German U-boats in it?

Steam seems to sell two version. One of them is SH4, not even patched to the latest available patch (1.4). The other is SH4 with the U-boat expansion, which is the 1.5 version of the game.

Many mods require the v1.5 to work. TMO is one of them. You can find an older version of TMO and patch your game up to v1.4, if you want to. The other choice is to get the other version of SH4 from Steam (or another source).

I did buy both versions and had both versions installed but was trying to get the one without the uboat missions in it to work, that is where the errors were coming from. I have uninstalled the one without the uboat missions in it but now the other version wont play.

Reinstalling the version with uboat missions in it to see if that now plays.

Lets hope this works.

You would be wise to not let it install to the default directory. Windows doesn't like you messing around in there. Consider setting up a separate Steam directory that is not a sub folder of Program Files or Program Files (x86). There are numerous discussions on this elsewhere in the forum. Check them out.

Uninstalled then reinstalled the UBoat mission game, reran the mod enabler, everything working again as it should.
