Tactical Map Disply

I already understand how to change the background image of the tactical map. Anyone know how to change the tactical map in a way that does the following;

1) Displays a map which is always centered on your sub?
2) On a change of zoom level, the map changes as well so that you are able to keep perspective on the distance between contacts (or own ship) without having to recalibrate for the new zoom level. Kind of like (but not quite) google maps when zooming in / out, you get an idea of where you are at before the image loads.
