Default 2 JSGME's

Hi,
I finally got LSH installed and working on a different laptop without the previous graphic problems on the other but have a quick question;
I notice that there are 2 JSGME's, 1 for normal start and the other through Silent Hunter Commander.
If I start the game through Commander do I need to activate the same mods in both of them for them to come into effect?

Could we have a status update on the latest (2019) edition, expected release?

Due to certain circumstances it will be a while yet before we see another version of LSH3.
I suspect sometime in 2020 is the most likely time.

Hi Peter.

It was among the package I received when downloading the full LSH3 15.

Removed the bunker start Lorient and the Black sea campaign worked just fine with some questions I will refer to later.

Hi-Sie is a little gem linked to the "Options selector" with various fixes for onboard oxygen content ets etc.

The "Supplement mod" is where you can activate the wolfpacks. i e after sending a contact report you wait for BdU to give you a go ahead to attack yourself or wait for reinforcements for a wolfpack attack using the AI.

For the Black Sea I just attacked a convoy NW of Sochi. Works fine but the "Komsomolietz" Freighter does not produce any wakes and can be run through using the free camera. I can hit the Large Tramp steamer but my eels just wizz througth the mentioned freighter like they were gost ships.

Maybe some setting in the definition files of these vessels???

I am now looking into the files of the vessel "Komsomol" trying to compare with ships that make wakes and can be hit. (ex Flower class).

I am using "SH3 editor" but not sure in what files to look. Is it in dat, dsd, sim, val or zon- files??? Or maybe I am looking at the wrong build elements. The above are in the SH3 Data/Sea folder.

Default Widescreen Magui GUI 3.4-SA

Apologies if anybody already stated this, got to page 32 or 33 and gave up reading.

On the note of the Widescreen MaGui 3.4 Stand alone GUI.. I have it loaded in to LSH3 2015, along with the charts addon. Got no problems with it at all. All tools function properly as far as I can discern.

Yes there are one or two minor things, such as the empty crew positions being a bluish colour and the career selection page where u select base location may be a bit wrong with its descriptions and placement of bases on the map..

Here is my mods list. Notice the widescreen mod that comes with game is not loaded. Haven't tried it with the MaGui loaded... Occurs to me it would just cause problems.

Default Turms in LSH3

I have a strange problem.

I activated the ACES SUPER TURMS mod in LSH3 and despite that is was created for GWX it worked for the IX1 turm as you can seen in the pic below



But when I upgraded to IX2 it failed to work.
The game did not CTD , it run ok but with the vanilla IX2 turm.
This is a screenshot as the game is running at the moment



Not a big deal , but any help would be nice.

Well , it was a long shot anyway.

Back to the point:

The fact is, I was just tired and burned out in 2018.
I was also tired of reactivating all the old LSH3 pleasures.
Apu, Con ... we all were tired of LSH3!

Fact 2019:

I want and will realize LSH3 Edition 2020!
Apu and Con have agreed to complete our project.
It will of course be the last SH3-Großmod production / version.

After 15 years maybe time to finish with SH3.

Thank you (german community) for your kind feedback!

Actually everything is good:

- For the future LSH3.COM there is no more financial need.
- Since 2007, I and the team have been able to handle server costs - and we will continue to do so.
- LSH3 "Edition 2020" should and will come, that the project will be completed - to the best of our knowledge and belief.
- After that I will get involved in new submarine projects - my love for the subject will remain unbroken.

More and more important is to make new / young players aware of "U-Boot Games"!
