During patrols I have constant situations when my crew say "Ship spotted ..."
but time goes on with super speed.

If you want it to bring the TC rate down when you encounter any ship, including neutral or friendly, the game won't do that. Only for known enemy vessels, and sometimes, if you're using a high TC rate, not soon enough for human reaction...

Been so long since I played, but seems u can change a setting somewhere or seems I just hit a key to take me to any sub station and that was normal time.
