Default interior colors submarine

Hi.
I have very bright colors in my submarine. I can not put them to darker tones. I have the mod ambient light installed. Is it possible that I'm missing something?

Is the type II interiors that comes with more vivid color tone? and the type VII interiors with darker tones ?.

That would be interesting to know.. Is it possible to use the u boat interiors together with thewide screen mod?

If yes would be great.. If no i stay at 4 to 3 screen.. The full interiors was one the things i was long waiting for..

Yes, that´s the way they were designed!


@MGMike

Sometimes WS will work with full interiors... but it can result in a crash to desktop if the memory is reaching 3,7GB.

I am still looking for a way to make them both possible... some things have to be 'shortened'. I have to investigate! The last weeks had bugfixe priority! Stability comes first!!!
One way you definitely can use them together is without activating the campaign files. But that would mean only stock campaign

ah ok ..

i will test it.


but i have a problem. if i try to use the ahnenerbe wide gui for 5.01 i get an error after the intro movies. It says "cannot initialize 3d engine"..


what may be the problem here ?


without the widescreen mod the game starts properly ...

Hm... did you choose win7 compability with SH3.exe, run as admin and activate vsync?

Change from widescreen 5.0 to 5.01 is only flotilla, menü screen and commands_de.cfg changes.

Active this mod with jsgme

IMPORTANT, to have all commands : In the game, go to options : select english language for keyboard

More optional mods are in « documentation » folder : Clear NavMapTable, Color Dials with Dark Compass, Color Dials with Light Compass, Console without Swastika.


ENHANCEMENTS : "Optimized WAC5.01 WideScreensGUI 1920x1080 Ahnenerbe" VS "WAC5.01 WideScreensGUI 1920x1080 Ahnenerbe":

-Dragable stopwatch wich can stayed in position everywhere in any screen !
-canon deck : we can select more that one type of munition (clic into space at bottom just right the EX munition)
-more shortcuts on left side panel (uzo, radio antenna, radar, flag)


-zoom scroll view from x1 to x10 (ctrl + mouse wheel) on periscops, uzo, binoculars etc... (normal zoom mouse wheel levels without CTRL unchanged)
RAOB DISCS USERS : Periscop view (F3) and OBS periscop view (O) : possibility to zoom (ctrl + mouse wheel) exactly at x5.4 or at maximum x10.8 to take the good measures and calculs! (because at Zoom x6, raob discs measures are wrong)


-salvo selector numbers visible at periscop view f3 and tdc view F6
-RecManualPanel on left side of periscop view f3 : a summary of targets ships, indicates weaknesses of ships (if you don't want it delete RecManualPanel in data/menu/gui)
-fast time increase with *
-identify target with shift + L
-solution target with ctrl + L
-orange marker on the surface when the sub is underwater (if you don't want it delete UMark.tga in data/Misc)
-(crew on deck with shift + A and ctrl + A)
-(uzo with shift+N and CTRL+N)



To do these enhancements, i changed some values at Cameras.dat from data/Library (obs periscop and periscop view zoom max at 10.8)

and i simply copy and past folders (below) from « Ahnenerbe_WS-GUI_1920x1080_fuer_CCoM_11.1 » in « WAC5.01 WideScreensGUI 1920x1080 Ahnenerbe » :

-menu_1024_768.ini from data/menu (with some modifications concerning flotillas so that everything is compatible with wac5.01)
-DF Antenna Up.tga, Flag Up.tga, Radar Up.tga, UZO Up.tga from data/menu/gui/Layout/Shortcuts
-the 4 shell.tga from data/gui/shells
-RecManualPanel file in data/menu/gui
-TDC8.tga from data/gui/tdc
-UMark.tga from data/Misc

ok i´ll try it out..

But i´ve got still that problem with the camera on the conning tower. by doing a right click i go not down inside the tower as it supposed to bee, no i am still flying above the sea and my boat sails away...


should that not be fixed too ??


i tried several combinations in the load order but nothing helped.


i am playing with full interiors


must the patch then behind the full interiors ??


I remember from the past that this issue has to do with the cameras.dat, but what exactly i don´t know anymore. it has been too long since i dealed with that.

edit:


same problem as first time. even with the new wide gui from ericlea. i put sh3.exe on compatibility to Win 7 and ran it as administrator.
it´s on the two additional files. the d3d.ini and dll. one of them or both caused this problem.

you must set the desktop resolution to 1024 × 768
Or in the settings of the video card include "Scaling GP"
