Default No Flags on ships...usually

Hey guys, I need some help. I have been using Anenerbes GUI and TKSS18 uboat compilations. very beautiful. Problem, TKSS18 breaks my Merchant fleet mod, and removes most flags from my ships. Every now and then I will see one, but very rare.

Yes I did find that TKSS18 is the problem. I like to play as real as possible so I dont want to go after neutral ships.

Is anyone out there familiar with this problem? is there a MOD? or a solution that will assist me?

Hi, I run most of the major mods that you do except mine run on top of GWX.

I always thought the Merchant fleet mod had very few flying flags, but most ships have the flags painted on the hull. The stock ships and others I presume have the standard flying flag.

I could be wrong though as I haven't played for a few months.

Is that mods soup you published loaded in the order you displayed? its a little different to mine.

It's just that when I leave port... no one has a German flag flying. Maybe one. I have my soup loaded this way so that my GUI works. Any other way I get double periscope lines, broken buttons and such.

When I leave Keil and don't use the Keil Canal, I pass quite a few ships and some are definitely sporting German flags. There are others from the Scandinavian countries and the odd Polish ship, but most do indeed have flags.

I'm not sure what is causing your problem, but I would double check how you have TKSS18 mod installed if you think that is causing the problem.

The self made mods are mods I made for personal preference or to merge 1 or more mods together.

I have no problems with flags, so it may help.

Your German Uboat Mod setup is a little different to mine.

The other thing i noticed was The Stiebler4C_Addon_for_V16B1. I always thought this was supposed to go after Supplement to V16B1 (JSGME). The shallow waters ASDIC mod that I use is the only part of this i use. If I recall correctly NYGM has this mod included in the base files

I'm no expert though and everybody's install is different.

My h.sie doesn't work if my sriebler is not before the supplement. Thanks for the help. What is your adjusted throttle do?

My soup is weird. My TKSS18 had broken buttons. This configuration fixes the buttons

Its just a mod to to the sub.cfg files changing what speed you get for each throttle setting. A personal preference, at one third ahead for example will give 7 kts in calm waters and so on. Anything faster than that planes seem to spot you more often. They are more dangerous than a destroyer after 1941, and are the sole reason I have never made it into 1942.

I think I modded the deck gun as well to work in slightly rougher seas. In GWX deck gun only works in good conditions, I thought this was a bit unrealistic. After all you still have the problem of hitting the enemy.

Also, you are probably right about Stiebler4C_Addon_for_V16B1 being where it is. I just checked my files for NYGM and that file is optional when you install NYGM.

Kudos to you in any case, I don't know how to make Ahnenerbe WideGui 1920 x 1080 Final work with my NYGM. I'm not that smart so I haven't really tried to get it to work.
