Last time I saw Sally B was at Duxford's Flying Legends show, where there were also two other B-17s present (I know the French-owned 'Pink Lady' was one of them, can't remember the other one), but it was quite a sight to see three B-17s taxying on the same airfield at the same time. Technically, there were actually four on the airfield I suppose, if you include the one in the USAF Museum at the site.

Was that at around the time that they were filming Memphis Belle? If so I was there too. It is indeed an amazing sight and just the sound of those engines alone is enough to bring a massive lump to my throat.

Whilst working with Sally B I was lucky enough to meet quite a few veterans, including R.R. Stanford-Tuck and his mate (honest)Adolf Galland.
Also I got to fly on a lot of really neat aircraft.

I see Sally B in the air at least once a year(although every year it's getting harder for them to fly her) but I've not seen her on the ground for a while.

Such a lovely plane.

Nah, I'm pretty sure it was 2005 as in the same year they had a lot of Spitfires at another Duxford show, which I also went to, and I seem to recall it was the 60th anniversary of the end of WW2, which is a lot long after the modern version of Memphis Belle was made.

I remember taking my wife for a flight in a DeHavilland Dragon Rapide at that show, which was very cool, another lovely old aircraft.

The British Big Three; Hurri, Spit and Lanc.

Hmmm, the F-15 in LOMAC is nice to fly, and when bits drop off, I can understand the warbling 'Electronic Nagging' ("Right Engine fire, Left Engine fire, ILS Fail, ECM Fail...") and I quite like the A-10, used to see a lot of them when I first moved up to Suffolk as they were based at Bentwaters at the time. I also have a bit of a thing for the MiG-29, probably because it was one of the first planes I kinda knew about back in the late 80s due to a NES game called "MiG-29: Soviet Fighter."

Commercial planes....probably the DC-10, Ju-52, Concorde (of course), DC-3 (An Iconic plane), and well, I dunno if this counts as commercial, but the C-47

Oh, and the Apache and Chinook!

I must say:

I started to use the Lockhead P38 ligthing..and I must say its a good looking plane, it got lots of firepower..is very fast
the only thing its a slow manouverable

but heck thats just a matter of changing your attacking tactics more of a Strike and Run...you just strike a enemy ....keep flying straight go fast make a distance turn around and go in back for the kill.

SU-27

SU-25

A10

Not to barge in on an all millatery section here but i like flying both the avro RJ-100 (BAe146 next gen model) and the antonov AN124 both are splendid aircraft as for fighters prefrence over F/A18E super hornets and SU-35 will fly F/A18E before a flanker.

There are so many cool planes, it is hard to choose. Maybe I will categorize it a bit.

My favorite Russian aircraft is the MiG-29, hands down. Everything about it is cool.

It is a much harder task to say what my favorite American plane would be. I would probably go with the A-10. I looks awesome and packs a big punch. Plus, it has one cool gun in the front.

My favorite British plane would be Harrier. It is so versatile. It is pretty cool to watch it take off or land vertically.
