Hi SS
You are quite correct an easy mistake that is often made.
You cannot have spaces in your path with SH3.

howdy, I haven't touched any silent hunter since sh5 first came out...

just curious with the widescreen mods...can we get 1920x1080 (or there-a-bouts) resolution ? or what is the maximum compatible with this mod / sh3 ?

thanks

Welcome aboard, Master Bates!

The widescreen versions of the GUIs in LSH3 are based on a 1360x768 resolution. However this doesn't hinder you from playing in 1920x1080 for example. Actually I never used any resolution higher than that, but I'd expect it to work as well as long as you stick to an aspect ration of 16:9 for the widescreen resolution.

I see they let you take the blindfold off then!

Default 1 problem and 1 question

Hello folks...had a major issue with video card failure and corrupted Windows 7 OS. New card installed and Windows 7 re-installed, which wiped everything clean off the C: drive (yes, all my important "stuff" was backed up and has been recovered). BUT...starting off on a new career in LSH3 V15 I noticed something odd about the camera behavior.

Problem: On the bridge I turn to look at something and then use the mouse wheel to switch to binoculars...OK. Then I roll the wheel back and resume "looking around". I see something else that I want a closer look at and roll the mouse wheel...and I'm looking at whatever I had been zoomed in on before, not at the second thing that I wanted to view closer. That's not right...IIRC the binocular view was always "slaved" to the "normal" view on the bridge. Now, I can only change the direction of binocular view when I'm in the binocular view; it does not follow the camera in "normal" bridge view. Anybody got an idea what is causing this...what might have changed the camera behavior between the two views?

Question: Are WB's Warning Orders and Mid-Patrol Radio Orders (non-GWX) compatible with SH3 CDR in LSH3 V15? I seem to recall that I was using those SH3 CDR MODs before in LSH3...but I'm not sure of that and would rather not "experiment" and break something if I can avoid it.

Thanks, in advance, for any help and I hope everyone has a very Happy New Year (all year).

Hi CB
A Happy New year to you.
Your problem is not one I have come across before.
Please post your mod list
Post #9 JSGME How To Export Your Mod List To A Subsim Post > Pictorial

The new sound files you want to install.
First check the files they are going to change and take copies of them before making any changes.
It is unlikely you will break the game by making these changes and you will have a backup anyway.
Peter

I know I'm missing something obvious to everyone else.. but how do I add an '_' to the whole file path in windows 10? I seem to only have the chance to change the SH 3 folder. (I'm installed via steam btw).

Looking forward to trying out this amazing mega mod!
