Default Just bought it

Great looking game with huge potential. Tried a solo run there and despite reading a ton of threads about people diving with the hatch open i dived with the hatch open!

Looking forward to getting into this some more, a friend also picked it up.

getting the hang of it now - i remember in Iron Coffins - y Herbert Werner toward the end of the war they were given some CPO who couldn't control the trim properly and ended up blowing their eardrums everytimg he let the schnorkel drop below the surface - i can see a good helmsman would be vital in MP!

hmmm - maybe IM that guy....i followed the tutorial, opened the fore and aft ballast tanks when on the surface to set neutral buoyancy - water comes in and gauge reaches max, then I sink like a stone (so i also never get a chance to close them again which is good practice like it says in the tutorial).

I can blow some air out and get it under control again, but im not doing something right as usually start rising then, even if slowly.

Dive planes are at 0, hatch is closed (couldnt find the voice-pipe but no water coming in) - what am i doing wrong??

Are you sure you have blown all the water out of the negative tank so it reads zero ? or filled it accidentally by opening the vent above. If you try to blow out a little water from the main ballast tanks you will find it difficult to stop the boat from surfacing even just a tiny amount makes maintaining level depth very unstable

Wolfpack is just brilliant the emersion when on the Uboat is something else the idea of team work all working together like a well oiled machine practice makes
perfect so they say.
Todays Newbie is tomorrows instructor passing on that same training knowledge to all who come after.
