Support Returning player FoTRS or RFB?

Hi guys!
I'm a returning player, back on SH4 after several years, two kids, an intercontinetal transfer and a lot of changes in my life!
So I've been thinking a lot about starting a new career on a fleet boat, finally got back to installing my old CDs and now I find that a new mod is on this as well!
I formerly played Real Fleet Boat 2.0 with RSRD, as well as some custom modifications; now I see this new super mod and I wonder how it compares to the RFB experience.
Any advice?
Free time as of now is on a premium so I would really prefer to make an educated decision before starting a career...

You will find FotRSU very beautiful, but the subs are more arcade than RFB. We did not want to copy the RFB set-up and go full-tilt with the player losing his boat in the different environment of FotRSU, and have not had much time to experiment with getting the fuel used versus other settings more closely balanced. But playability is constantly improving. But it definitely take more hardware to run than RFB does...

i agree with PB, here.
FORTSU is more machine-intensive, but less challenging as a skipper.
RFB, and especially TMO with RFB, is very challenging.
good luck no matter which way you decide to go.

I play with FoTRS, and I use Vickers forward compartment mod and a 4k graphics mod whose author eludes me at the moment. Eventually, I'll go back to TMO, but I'm looking for something more historical. Btw, don't forget to turn off map contacts. Using the radar is what makes this game stand out.
