Just silhouettes.

Someone already did a lot of work but how to get that in the ship recognition manual....

Hi Ashikaga!
It is not a big problem to replace the shapes that are in the "Sea" folder in SH5 with the shapes that were in the original recognition manuals, it is just to create a mod that replaces the files "anyship_sil.dds" with the new files with dimensions 512x256 pixels and in dds format, the problem is to find all the silhouttes for more than 200 boats that are in the recognition manual of SH5 with the TWoS mod.
It is already a wonderful thing that Vecko has added many boats but that unfortunately have different origins and therefore different graphic appearance. However the important thing is to have them as they are in the recognition manual.
Unfortunately I do not have these 200 silhouettes and I am darkening the silhouttes that have a too light background to make them uniform. Having all the 200 original silhouttes that come from a single source would really be the best!
I hope that someone might find these 200 silhouettes from a single source to be graphically identical.

v2.2.4
- Microsoft NET Framework 4.7.1 web installer had been replaced wilt older version 4.0 for better compatibility with older OS. The installation will be rejected if you already have same or newer version of NET framework installed on your computer.
- Reorganised and renamed some of the in game charts for easier handling.
- Added recognition manual aditional info entries for several more ship types(catapult ships, light vessels, C-3 cargo ect).
- Several more minor "under the hull" tweaks and fixes.
- Updated TWoS credits page. Latest TWoS supporter/donor: petes-ponderables - Thank You very much Captain!
Torpedo, could you please update the last version with the new entries from TWoS v2.2.4 - thanks!!

That wont be necessary excel4004 since Torpedo's mod only contains dds files. It's perfectly fine to use it even with latest TWoS if you like it...

Cheers!

Default Darkened Recognition Manual

Hi all!
Here is my last version for a darkened recognition manual, "Darkened Recognition Manual v2.0 by Torpedo".
This mod is TWoS compatible and can be activated with JSGME at any time because it only contains graphic files.
In this mod I darkened the manual, the flags and the silhouettes of 56 ships that were too light.

Hi all and good hunting...
