Sry for late posts. U are definantly the master of this. Have you ever been killed doing this sort of thing? I'm glad i made this post it will help me loads. I tried Gibraltar in stock and did quite nicely except for the lethal air attack during retreat. I made about halfway and then "death due to ramming" Damn DDs

first Port Scouting venture did not go well
First time I was off Africa and after finally finding Brest since I was told to return there I thought I would do a little duty free shopping in Freeport since I had not seen anything the whole trip. Saw the shallow water on the map and was going at slow and periscope depth as I went over it. Checked death under and was informed I had 39 so I upped to one third since I didn't want to be caught in shallow water at day break. Promptly ran aground and when I checked crew to set up repairs 90% were dead!!!!! Moved everyone I could to repairs and as soon as everything said repaired the dead ship pop up showed
Why does the maps not give a hint of the depth of the water, I have never seen a chart that doesn't have it? |

"Seabed Repair Mod" or an equivalent UBoat-Keel modification and "IX_3_turm_fix.rar" or "Turm_Fix.7z" which corrects a bug in Turm9c_3_hd.zon when use the original Turms are a "must have". Quote:
But i think it has something todo with the low power of PCs at that time on one hand, and on the other hand with the lack of Data for the whole world. The Navigation-map gives you a hint of the Water-depth in form of Colors. GWX use a Nav-Map pencil with blue colored Markers at 17, 60, 90, 160 and 230m. Greetings. |
