Default Damage model / RA 1.44

How does the base game handle ship damage? Is it possible for leaks and does deflection angle do more or less damage?

Or is it just 0-100% equals a kill at 0.

I had 2 cargo ships ram into each other and was accelerating time to see if they would sink and no joy.

DW damage model is very simple: hidden health points - damages from 0 to 100%

DW does not simulate fire, leaks etc.

In latest version damage model was redesigned. Some changes are good and some are not - but this is only my opinion.

BTW latest RA version is 1.45
You should update 1.44 to 1.45

I only see 1.44 on the crazy russians website? Is there a different link for 1.45 I'd love to update.

What were some of the damage model changes in the update out of curiosity? Why were some changes good and others bad?
