Default Officers, bridge stations and general noobery, oh my!

Hi all,

A couple questions I couldn't find answers to on the forums:

1) Does having an officer occupying a bridge station do anything other than make them selectable in the tab at the bottom left corner of the screen to give orders? If so, what does each station do?

2) Does that green bar above the different rooms on the crew assignment view do anything other than make sure the room is functioning?

3) What is the name of the mod that lets you change the names of your crew members, and is said mod compatible with GWX 3.0?

WELCOME ABOARD!

1) If the officer has a qualification for that station it makes a huge difference in the efficiency of the compartment.

2) The more green is showing, the better the compartment runs. Having the bar be all green means that efficiency is at its maximum.

3) Only SH3 Commander can do that, and it isn't a mod, it's an external program that works with any supermod or stock SH3.

GWX does need a special file to work properly with SH3C, available from Jimbuna's signature link.
