Default TWOS 2.1.0 issue torpedoes

Hi guys.

I'm playing SH5 with TWOS 2.1.0. Great fun, except for one thing. ALL my torps are duds, every single one of them.

It even happens when I adjust the realism setting for torpedoes.

Any ideas?

I have. I followed the exact instructions that came with the Mod, so I'm pretty baffled now

At which angle do your torpedos hit the target? Early torpedos (not the electric ones) were famous for not detonating at high angles. Ideally you should chose a 90° angle at close range 1500m or so. Set them to fast speed and lead the target.
Also maybe you experience just bad RNG...

Cheers,

Hi Sb
I have some tutorials for setting up attacks.
Only use contact not magnetic fuses.

Thanks guys. I restored the snapshot for a second time and it did the trick, for some reason.

I have another problem though, I can't enter mast height in the TDC, it just says NaN, any idea?

Hi Sb
You need to lock the target with the space bar first.
This will open the TDC.
When you see the target in the Recognition Manual and put your mouse over Send Mast Height to the TDC it will be red allowing you to send it and you will see it in the TDC under Range.
