...dont forget that the arma series are more or less a infrantry combat simulator, but having a wide range of different vehicles you`re able to pilot. For a "sim-game" of its priceclass you cant expect having all the simulation dept as like in a "tank only sim".

On the other hand, regarding tactics and virtual battlefield, Bohemi Interactive deliver also VBS-2 a proffessional combat simulator which is more or less running on the same engine and partly shared content but much more advanced and made for real troops... the US Marine Corps is training with it for example.

regarding I44, the modding possibilitys within arma are endless, some vanilla vehicles have a 3D interrior with crew, so it is doable. The damage and ballistic`s modell got modified, fitting much better into it now.

My favors are the Panther and Tiger tanks as they have the best engine sounds at current. Its a shame that allied tanks feature a bad, much to quiet unrealistic engine sound, lets hope they take a hand on it.

If you want to have a more realistic modern version try the ACE mod, for more real missiles and its systems try Mando Missiles mod.
