Default CH-HOTAS profile for SBPPE

Two or three times a month someone sends me a mail and asks if I could give him my command profile for CH Fighterstick and Pro Throttle, to be used with Steel Beasts Pro PE. Since it happens quite frequently, I set it up for download now.

I use a German keyboard. So it is possible that some commands using keys that are different in English and German, may not function and need to be adjusted.

I also have changed some of the default keyboard commands in SBP, to work around some problems I ran into, because of the language thing that again comes into play when using the manager software for CH gear. I cannot help it, you have to test it yourself. ´

The profile is two-layered.

Level one is meant for controlling all shooting and fighting with left hand on throttle, while the right hand is free to use the mouse (panning, aiming) or the stick (alternate aiming, movement control).

Level two reverses the setup somewhat, having all movement-relevant commands on the throttle now, and leaving your right hand free to do all fighting via stick, but also having all unit formation commands on the stick. Unit formation only is available on level 2. Usually I only switch to level 2 to access these, and then return to level one immediately.

I also realised that by my own fault I sent several guys an old, not finished layout, with not all commands programmed, and wrong description within the profile. I apologise for any inconvenience I may have created by that. I have corrected that now and also made two new visual templates for illustration.

EDIT: updated on 8th February 2007
