they're are blind bats...and greedy sods as well...12 AI 109 (counted by Fincuan) on just 1 P.11...

If you want to tell friend from foe you best use the "zoom" vision. If your opponent is brown with an visible undercarriage then it's a P11. If you can't see an undercarriage and the guy is green (except for my blue one) it's a 109.

Maybe we should rename the AI into RD. RD is Real Dumbness....

I find the 109 to be the easiest one to identify from far. The tail's horizontal wing is square when looked from a distance, no other plane has it like that in IL2.

Thanks for the spotting tips and nice pics Oberon. I had indeed forgotten about Hermann's private 111, because at that time I was nursing my own damaged one back to base and only caught glimpses of Hermann. Good thing they were able to stop before that forest, it looked quite dense

If we get another HE-111 mission tonight then it's killing time: I just learned how to use the bombsight. Bridges, hangars, armor, Schultz's tower, all are a piece of cake to take out

Know that feeling, it's not pretty. I usually wake up at 6-6:15 but if I get shafted with an early than it's 5:30. Still, Dowly...the skys call you! Show Schultz what you can do.
