I did use it last night. Worked fine, made so much I have leftovers for today and maybe tomorrow. I won't know about unpopped kernels until I reach the bottom of the huge bowl, but it does taste just fine.

Sending back radio I just ordered as it can't tune in anything without static when I try to use it in my office, which is where I need it to work. Replacing it with something a bit more pricey that I hope will be better.

Update: The second time I used it I put in a little less. Ended up with a perfect bowl - no burns, not one unpopped kernel, and one of the plastic cogs on the spinner broke.

Emailing the maker now.

You should have oiled the cogs....with sugar
