Now the links for increase volume of radio and gramophone work perfectly.
Sorry for the problems!

Default Dead download links

The download links in the first post are dead. Anyone know where I can find this?

Hi there,

I've updated Radio Paris. There are 2 downloads waiting for you

1) An update with 52 new songs 1928-1945 for people who already have
Radio Paris French Music Vol I

....

The link with the update --> http://www.filefront.com/15862447/Ra...-Update-1.zip/

2) A new and full version of Radio Paris named: Radio Paris French Music Full Version 1.2 (this includes the old version + the update in an all in one folder).

Instructions on how to (also to be found in the Radio Paris Readme!.txt):

This radio mod is JSGME Friendly.

IMPORTANT!!!!

--- Before you unzip and install please add the following lines to your radio cfg file to be found in the ~data\sound\radio map. (don't forget to make a backup before you add or change things)

[CHANNEL]
Name=Paris
Folder=Paris
Freq=33
Antenna=01.01.1930-01.01.2000:44.16,-35.10:100000
;MusicVolumeOnNews takes values from 0.01 to 1
MusicVolumeOnNews=0.4

1) make sure that your frequencies are in the correct order (lowest first, highest last)

--- To install please unzip the file to the JSGME mods directory and use JSGME to install this mod
1) JSGME will install the mp3 files in the ~data\sound\radio\Paris map
2) All mp3 filenames start with the year in which the song was recorded. So for example the people who do not want to hear songs recorded in 1943 while they are still playing in 1942, just cut/paste the 1943 and later recording dates to a temp folder and you can copy them back when you survive 1942 and get into 1943

The link with the full version --> http://www.filefront.com/15862393/Ra...rsion-1.2.zip/

I cannot ad the lines [CHANNEL]
Name=Paris
Folder=Paris
Freq=33
Antenna=01.01.1930-01.01.2000:44.16,-35.10:100000
;MusicVolumeOnNews takes values from 0.01 to 1
MusicVolumeOnNews=0.4

when i do it says it cannot save it because the path is incorrect , it seems that the radio file is a ini file instead of a cfg file.

  • change file extension from .ini to .txt
  • open the file with notepad
  • once finished with your changes, save the file normally
  • change back file name to radio.ini

With your keyboard maybe
...unless you know of any faster method

Seriously now: if your text editor doesn't let you to load/save ini files, you just need to rename the file extension. That easy!
