I downloaded the 'English Language Baltic Campaign v2' and installed it and it converts a lot of the main menu and other items into english -- but sadly not the mission instructions and radio messages.

Install Guide/Order:

1. Run SWsetup_v105.exe. prompts are russian, but pretty easy to figure out. Install into silenthunter folder. It's the standard next > next > agree > [destination] > next > exit sort of installer.

2. install JGSME

3. install Soviet Waterway_Mod

4. install desired additional mods in the original pack as desired

6. install russian voices

7. install english hack

5. install extra evil (rename MOD folder to alphanumeric)

6. install turkish gambit (maybe? untested -- this seems to modify soviet waterway and potentially replaces it)

If you can tell me exactly what 'Turkish Gambit' is I'd love that -- I'm not sure if its a campaign that replaces the existing one, or adds some scenarios to it or what exactly.

Ok i manage to get this mod work but i have folowing problem , my torpedos move only straight , it is imposible to set them to turn , anyone know how to fix it ?

Torpedoes USSR went only right they had no guidance to the target. This is not a bug but a harsh life of the sailors of the USSR.

Default torpedoes

Soviet torpedoes, were just like the italian one modified: they was purchased in '30 by the torpedo fabric of fiume,(italian whitehead torpedo fabric. silurificio di fiume now in livorno) and so purchased rights, and start to produce of their own. italians didnt use tdc, like the british (british torpedoes had a maximum angle of 10 degrees, indeed in we dive at dawn campaign you should fire "at eye".)., and so the russians using italian whitehead torpedoes copy, they didnt have torpedoes like germans or us. (yes, fascist italy and soviet russia was heavily involved in naval projects together. russians was the main partner to purchase ships, weapons, etc by italy. also the 100 mm and 45 mm guns, the tashkent was built in livorno in '40, and the officer that tested it, later commanded a mas motor boat that attacked it off sebastopol 2 years later. and in '20-'30 many soviet officers come to naval accademies in italy, training on submarines too. in early '30 they would purchase also some sub but that was forbidden by some treaty so they didnt at the end. the dekabrist class was a result of the soviet purchase of the balilla class blueprints, with some soviet idea added, etc etc soviet russia and fascist italy was big partners in naval things, in early '20 italy was maybe the first nation to help russia to rebuilt her fleet after the revolution. they sent officers, etc to train, to purchase blueprints etc because after the revolution the fleet need to reborn.) later during the war british officers helped soviets to train, and so they too had similar torpedoes, with a max angle of 10 degrees. that s why in soviet waterway (one of my favourite mods, also because there is much regia marina inside it,) you should fire in the old way, at eye, or calculating the solution manually. usually at 1000 meters, when the target is at 10 or 350 degrees, you dont miss!

Soon in "the Soviet Waterway" the new submarine will appear. This submarine type Golland which was ordered in America for the Black Sea Fleet.

cant wait for holland class! these boats were purchased by all allied nations in ww1, we had too in italy, purchased in 1917 and used in adriatic against the austro ungarian fleet, and in lybia against german/turkish forces (austrogerman uboots did transport supplies and turkish military advisors for lybian rebels engaged against british/italian forces in egypt lybian border) and in ww2 they still in service for 2nd line duties, mainly costal patrols and sub school duties. cant wait to play them. AG CLASS is one of my favourite soviet sub!
btw she shchuka class x serie, (not the x bis, only the x) have a probleb: cant load other torpedoes in the tubes, only the standard 533 and 450, if you load other types, and start patrol, you ll find the standard 533 and 450 anycase loaded in the tubes.
Will be nice also a ww1 russian mod in the baltic or black sea, with the tsarist submarine fleet, or with the british baltic flotilla, submarines took part also in the civil war later.

i was thinkin...would be nice some winter war single mission or war patrol. i know how do it with the mission editor. it's easy. what do you say devs?

Unfortunately, Ubi didn't do ice or flying or falling snow, and the crew's clothing can be a problem... There's snow on the ground in Alaska, but the US crews runs around in their short-sleeved shirts. If someone could invent falling snow and / or ice in the game, they'd be famous - as would be the person who could get the clothing to change appropriately for the weather...
