Not true.

Post #26 How To Get Fuel With No Re-supply

Before Vecko upped the fuel levels this was one way to get back to base before the fuel ran out.
I remember before TWOS doing Operation Drumbeat and after re-fueling and some patrolling there was never enough fuel in the boat to get back.
Other changes can also be done as required.

Peter

And I feel really obliged to donate to the TWOL author now, because this is one of the very few modifications that accomplish so many things and do it almost flawlessly.
Thats a good idea.

Yep, Vecko and UBI developers deserves a lot, UBI managers deserves nothing
I asked him here more than once how can i send him a beer for TWOS as it had to be so much work and it creates so awesome game from such BS.
(I know there is a lot of developers behind mods which is TWOS contained of...)

So it was not Vecko's idea i think to grab some money, i think i was not only one asking him how to donate.

Let's see a few more names on the credits list to show our appreciation for this demanding work.
There is no such thing as a free lunch somewhere the cost has to be found.

Thank you my friends.

I had no idea how much work was involved in modding, never thought about it, just downloaded and expected them to work.
Then I decided to have a go myself, that was a big eye opener I can tell you.
admittedly I kinda jumped in at the deep end with the IX, but its still only a mod.
3 months down the line its still not right, and I am working on a backup just in case. my point being that 3 months is not once in a while, its at least a few hrs every night, and at least one day of the weekend.
when you know 1 wrong entry in 1 file among 2 or 3 hundred files can screw things up, you appreciate the massive amount of time vecko has invested in this. to make all those mods that change a lot of the same files
all play nice together and not ctd every 5 mins .
He makes "Harry Potter" look like an amateur.

Hi mkiii
LIke you I am sure Vecko did not find it easy with many hurdles to jump over to where he has TWOS now.
We are not talking months here but now years.
When he needed help thankfully there were those like GAP and others that had the experience to help him move onto the next obstacle.

While we only see the finished product to the latest upgrade I am sure there are many hours of trial and error before some sort of satisfaction is achieved.

I suspect modders are like dogs with bones, once they start they cannot put it down and the frustration I suspect just drives them on until the problem is solved.

I wish you well in your project and I think you have already achieved something that has not been achieved in the last 10 years with SH5.
I am sure with perseverance and a little help along the way one day we might be lucky enough to see a Type IX in SH5.
Something beyond our wildest dreams.
Good luck.
Peter

Trouble is they are spread over different SH 3 4 and 5 projects the others maybe knock on the door of the Old Folks Retirement Home if you get my drift

Default OHII and Wolves of steel current verson.

Ahoy,

I have 2 questions if you start with the VIIA sub will you get a chance to be upgraded during coastal waters to the type VIIB like it was before.

Next question is the medal system broken I have received no medals i am on mission 5 in 2.10 I use OHII and Wolves of steal. And all my crew are at 100% now so no its not that I shouldn't have received them.

thanks
Velts
