Default Ahoy

Hi...not really new to silent hunter...just haven't played though in about 3 years...finally got some extra time on my hands and found this site...this game seems to have come a long way with all the mods and extra stuff to make this sim more engrossing....I have SH3...SH4 + Expansion and SH5. ...right now focusing on SH3 with a little side time on SH4....big question here....super mods....any recommendations?...personally I am kind of leaning towards the gray wolves...is this a group for multilayer only or single career and are they helpful and involved in teaching the finer arts of play?.....I've also noticed there seems to be alot of chatter about silent hunters from steam....is this a major problem cause all mine are from steam...any input...opinions...advice would be extremely helpful and appreciated

Welcome to Subsim, Bama There are a great many supermods out there. GWX 3.0 gold seems to be the gold standard if you will excuse the pun with regards to Silent Hunter 3.There is also the war elite mod and NYGM mod.

Subsim Member Rockin Robbins was working on Fall Of The Rising Sun FOTRS for Silent Hunter 4.

Subsim Member " TheBerbster " was doing some work with the " Wolves of Steel " Supermod for Silent Hunter 5 and tells me the bugs have been worked out of it and the game play is excellent.

All of these mods should enhance the gameplay of your respective simulations. With regards to Steam, a number of our members have reported problems with Silent Hunter games from Steam. If you can find a Silent Hunter DVD, get it.

Enjoy your time here and your Sims and welcome aboard.
