The cask version is available in Bath Ales’ pubs and free trade outlets. The bottled version, which is filtered but not pasteurised, is on sales nationally in Tesco stores: https://www.tesco.com/groceries/en-G...ucts/300483677

£1.70 or four for £6.

Default World Cup Bud

I don't know whether this is across the UK but they've got these 473ml aluminium 'bottles' of 2018 World Cup Bud for just £1.00 at SPAR. At that price I've been getting some in today (the bottle on the left is already empty)

The limited-run craft beer should be available at most of the events associated with the Harley-Davidson anniversary celebration—which has been held every five years since the company’s 85th anniversary back in 1988. But lager fans should also be able to find the 115th Anniversary beer in bars and restaurants, as well as in 16-ounce cans at some retail locations, around the Milwaukee area starting this Thursday.

Tried this for the first time last night whilst watching Manure go down 0-3 to Spurs so needless to say it went down a treat and I'll be having more tonight whilst watching Wimbledon v West Ham (previously mentioned on page 15, #225).

61 Deep. Newest brew on the Burton block. 61 metres. That’s the depth of the well at the Brewery that gives this refreshing pale ale its name. The five American and Australian hops give it its fresh, zesty aroma, whilst the tropical fruit and citrus notes make it extremely drinkable. Dive in.

Default Saltaire Brewery "Cascade"

4.8% ABV, from ASDA's four for £6.00 deal

Although described as a 'Vibrant American Pale', this is brewed in West Yorkshire... I guess this is owing to the 'Cascade' hop, an American variety.

This is very hoppy-smelling, with a wonderfully refreshing, crisp and bitter flavour

Default Westgate Brewery "Yardbird"

Very similar to the 'Cascade' above (being "Inspired by bold American IPA's") but even more hoppy and even more dry. A beautiful, full and crisp dry flavour

4% ABV and another ASDA four for £6.00 ale

Quote:
Sea Fury Special Ale takes its inspiration from the stormy Atlantic seas that crash into the rugged Cornish coast during the long, dark winter. This exceptional beer was first brewed in 1996 to satisfy demand from local fishermen for a stronger ale to enjoy after long and often perilous stints at sea.
Sea Fury is an exceptional example of the Special Bitter beer style offering substance and depth of flavour without compromising balance and drinkability.
Aroma: Inviting roasted and dark berry notes.
Taste: Sumptuous, full malt and berry fruit.
Finish: Moreish and pleasing hop.

Default Wells "Sticky Toffee Pudding Ale"

(Alcohol 5.0% Vol.)

This was not to my taste at all and probably requires that you like sticky toffee pudding... which I don't. In fact I hate it

Moira loves the stuff so this was her choice and her beer, but I thought I should at least try a sip.

If you like dark chocolate then you'll know of the enormous difference between a smooth top-quality chocolate and the cheap, sickly, tangy stuff that's often passed off as dark chocolate. Well to me this tasted as though someone had liquidised a cupful of that and poured it into a bottle of beer; I found it to be sharp to the taste and sweet... also there was a lack of hoppiness. You may love it but there's no way I could drink a pint of this

Not to my liking either but the Banana Bread Beer I tasted earlier was definitely a superior brew.

Default Wychwood Brewery: "Hobgoblin"

ASDA's Four for £6.00 deal again

This is really special... quite dark, hoppy, reasonably bitter and with a persisting taste of fermenting fruit. It's one of those beers you feel like rolling around in your mouth before swallowing

ABV 5.2%

2018 Halloween promotional (copper label)
