Take a Friday night, add a UI 1.01 which makes you restart every time you disconnect, add a drunken ferret and an englishman who accidentally turns his microphone off, then add a tablespoon of bad luck and stir until ready.
The result, about four restarts, a mass slaughter, a mid-air collision and only two survivors. I bagged one Fw-190, quite lucky really, I must have got the Luftwaffe n00bs because they were flying quite happily straight and normal, I would have got two but I used up all my cannon ammo firing too early and then ran out of MG, the 190 didn't even flinch when I accelerated past it and took a photo of it , Red Max got two and made it home while Task Force and Hunter weren't so lucky... |

I think we need to add a ruel to prevent crashes like we had today.
Like... Keep at least 2 plane lenghts away from eatch other when in formation. unless told too by your flight leader. Because when you fly too close to eatch other. Your asking for it almost. We probably need to stay in a area. So we dont have a slaughter house like today. I remember looking back to my 6 and seeing 3 fw 190s (out of the bunch that were waiting to kill me.) (2 of which were both shooting at me at once.) It was... boom, boom, boom. black screen "Task Force has been killed"

Close formations are for airshows, and there's no reason at all to fly one in combat. One exception: It's allowed when you want to scare the **** out of an FW190. Nice one Gotta love IL2's AI too. "Me is Oleg's AI the "returning home"-mode, me doesn't react to anything!" |

:rotfl::rotfl:. I'll drink to that mate. It seems that the ai compleatly ignored the fact that I was there, the first one that I got tryed in my book the dumbest evasive manuver ever( the one where the enemy climbs straight up to attempt to gain altitude but loses a lot of air speed), I didn't go straight up after him, I stayed on a 70-80 percent climb gave him a few bursts from the machine guns and when those hit I fired the cannons and blew his left wing off. The second one was even dumber than that!! He must have been a pilot with no combat experiance since he flew strait and level in a combat zone for more than thirty seconds, I gave him a seven second burst and he blew up right in front of me. Hunter that piss poor landing that I did was because I'm more used to landing with the outside view on, or if we could use ctrl+F1 I probibly would have made a better landing, but its one more thing to practice I guess.

I looked back at the track...
Dowly was flying around behind Schroeder (3 to 4 plane lenghts upside down.) and then you both blew up. Nither of youall touched. It was lag or something like that.

Lag could be the culprit.

Nah, I checked the track yesterday and I went Top Gun on his German butt and crashed to his cockpit. Sorry about that Schroeder.
