Default Darker Nights settings

A question for those of you that have some modding knowledge :
is there a way to import some elements from a supermod into another supermod in order to have the nights look more similar ?
I like playing NYGM but the nights are way too bright, i am forced to play with a special monitor setting with reduced gamma and brightness in order to feel it is playable ( at least for my taste ) .
On the other hand, supermods like LSH2015 (or CCoM 12.0 ) have some very nice and dark nights that i like and i would love to have those type of nights in NYGM .
The environments of the two supermods , in general, are pretty similar , the day time colors look almost the same , is there a way i can make the NYGM nights darker in LSH style ? What should i change ?
Thanks

Default

According to notes I made many years ago, it seems that the day and night effects can be set with files in the sh3\data\env folder.

I have no personal experience of how to change these, but probably S3Ditor would help. Try EnvColors_Atl.dat first.
