Default PTSD spec trailer

Here's a project that I worked on recently as a Camera Assistant.

Disturbing but it needs to be out in the open.

This really is a worthwhile project, tmccarthy. PTSD- Post Traumatic Stress Disorder has been so poorly understood and recognized. In years past, it was known as " Shell Shock " and other names. It was only associated with those in the military.

Today, we know those who answer the call to help in professions like Paramedics, Firefighters, Police officers, Doctors and nurses and many others and who are repeatedly traumatized in the course of their work / professions can suffer from this affliction as well. I know those who have assisted in cleaning up after plane crashes and recovery have also been devastated by PTSD.

Sadly and all too often, the youngest victims are children who have suffered abuse. With PTSD un-diagnosed in those children who have suffered child abuse trauma, It can ruin them for life and it can set them on self destructive paths including alcohol and drug abuse and ultimately, suicides. In the end, the childhood traumas they suffered years before claim their lives in the end.

With regards to our veterans, we have an obligation and debt of honor to do everything possible to help them. They never asked for any of this. It's called keeping the faith. The same goes for those in helping professions who have made a career of helping others.

Much appreciation tmccarthy for helping to get the word out.

WOW!!
I had to stop watching mid way through. Even that hit too close to home. Much needed project. I've recently seen way too many lives ruined because of PTSD. I have touch of it myself, I can't imagine how someone feels who has an extreme case of it.
Can you tell us anything about it? When will it be showing?
Thank you for being a part of it.

Oh holy ****. The real deal, not any of this "Ohmergawd someone said an opinion on Twatter I didn't like. Now I have PTSD."

it's going to be up to us men to take care of each other, the world gives zero ****s about us.

Good work keeping this in our collective minds. We all need to step up a bit to help fix this.
