[S3F]_TRAILER.exe

My answer consists of facts as usual.

So I hereby annouce: The trailer is out NOW (Apr 10)
Download here: http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/down...o=file&id=4431

And now count down 10 days...

If your front end is as good as you want us to believe, then trust that word-of-mouth about it's usefulness gets around.

[EDIT]After a pm going back and forth with BLITZKRIEG taking away ruffled feathers (hopefully), and having seen the trailer now, I must say I am still not sure sending a link to it via PM to several members (as well meant-invitations) is the proper way to follow net-etiquette. So I trimmed the rough edges of my previous response. Personally, I find the trailer contains too much drama with nothing substantial shown.... yet. The end product we have yet to see, and so I cannot and will not judge. But please, don't tarnish it's potential with making the expectations bigger than needed. Beauty shines in itself.

This looks like it could be a great mod. I'll admit that trailer was more flash and less substance but it still looks intriguing

Heh...

How come you guys write me way more positive feedback in private mails than here?

If you write here, I would love to read your suggestions as per features or let's discuss for instance this question raised by me:

Hmmm.... A readme file is a must. As for the how to depending on how complicated this'll turn out making a how to video might be better then a manual.

Two corrections though:

The trailer is not flash, it is coded in a weird C/++ dialect.
And S3F is not a mod (which would be activated by JSGME), it is a tool.

Hm. A readme-file. Wouldn't you think of some PDF rather than a readme?
Some PDF with screenshots maybe?

As I understand BLITZKREIG's concept, the intent is to make setup simple and uncomplicated! So hopefully, a vid won't be required. Also, some of us prefer to have the instructions in readable form.
