My HD contains a clean installation of Freelancer...but not for long

Im guessing they did this to compete with the imminent release of Jumpgate Evolution.

Nah, there's nothing to gain by running a free server. And I doubt this will make ppl buy FL and even if it would, the money would go to the devs, not the server guys.

Most of those who are running the Aurora server were thinking of going to JGE, but it seems they've gotten someone to further develop the Aurora mod.

Dont think there is anymore. But IIRC the amount of new ships in TNG 2.7 was something around 70-80. All stock races get fighters, small freighters, cruisers, gunboats and battleships.

The new races are a bit more mixed, some have only fighters, some have only different sized freighters and some rely on cruisers and battleships.

to get my Hurricane Battleship - I have to go to Magella System, from that to the Nexus and then to Sol easy right?

Nope...as soon I enter nexus I'm getting turned into spacedust by Shadow Battleships

You do remember that you have to have the reputation to buy the thing? Or does the old player ID's work on the new server??

Yeah someone told that in the server...but I had to discover who it was to build rep with.

nope you have to start over...but you get 9 billion credits
(anyway I had to start over because I dont have that player ID code anymore)
