SHO Nav Map

I downloaded the Navmap makever mod and found it's really heavy on the game and graphics, but i quite like having the panama and suez canal. is there a way to edit the map so I can add them without overloading my graphics??

NMMO was released over 2 years ago, and this is the first time anyone has commented regarding the performance of their computer while using this mod. May I suggest loading only the NMMO mod to the stock game to verify this is the mod causing the problems you're having. Regardless, to answer your question, The canal files are in the Data/Terrain/Data directory.

SHO

I only ever use 1.5 with no other Major mods, I notice not a great effect when away from islands, but rather when closer to them. I'm only using a laptop and though it runs fine most of the time while playing the integrated graphics on these things leave something to be desired

I don't know what I need to edit the canal files, and wouldn't even know how to do it properly, I am looking to get a better laptop for college.

Also I've noticed that many of the land areas you come across in game are very flat and boring, I don't like the lack of volume to be honest. And also why is the sea floor so flat and boring, Not that I've personally gone down and taken a peek but I'd quite like to traverse the route the red october took when it had to make precise calculations just to get through....I bet that would be fun in game.
