I downloaded both of the megamods for sh5. I was really hoping for an easy way to mod SH5 without having to shuffle mods around. Unfortunately neither mod archive included a .mep file, which would have been amazing.

I am happy to say after a long break I am back in the Atlantic, I also down loaded this mod pack which looks pretty awesome. However what order do I use to enable them. I tried sober MEP but that fails due to many missing mods, Halp!!

I also found that pack has some mods missing. Therefore, I had to download missing packs manually.

SOLVED

I've installed R.E.M_by_Xrundel_TheBeast_1.2 - no hyd on surface - NewUIs-IRAI compatible mod and now hydrophone works perfectly.

Usee my mega mod list and play on 100% realism . Real navigation is not hard . Just use the compass to point in the direction you want to go . Everytime the navigatoe marks the navmap with an X the game drops to 1TC so you can adjust your course . You can turn the 1TC off for long runs at the click of an icon . It couldn't be easier .

If you study my mod list you'll see that i have NewUIs_TDC_7_5_0_Real_Navigation mod activated.
